With unopposed exhibit hours, daily breaks are held in the Exhibit Hall, you will have an opportunity to generate new leads with pediatric anesthesiology decision makers.
SPPM 7th Annual Meeting Program
The SPPM meeting will focus on topics of interest to those involved in the prevention, assessment, and management of pain in infants, children, and adolescents. The overall goals for attendees of the program are to enhance their existing fund of knowledge, and to introduce them to new and state of the art techniques and information that affect their practice and improve the care for children in pain.
The program brings together experts from clinical and basic science disciplines related to pediatric medicine, anesthesiology, pain medicine, palliative care, bioethics and neurobiology. General topic areas include neurobiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regional anesthesia, anesthesia, surgery, patient safety, database resources, and risk assessment for abuse and addiction prevention.

- A minimum of 50% of the exhibit fee is due when the Exhibit Agreement is submitted. Payment is due in full by December 5, 2019.
- Payment for an Exhibit/Sponsor Agreement submitted after December 5, 2019 must be paid in full at the time of application.

Exhibit space is assigned on a first come, first served basis. Exhibit space includes:

Exhibit agreements must be submitted prior to exhibit space being assigned.
Every effort will be made to accommodate special requests. The SPPM cannot guarantee preferences for exhibit space locations.
The SPPM reserve the right to add, move or remove exhibit tables if necessary. The floor plan is subject to change.
The program will be available on the MOBILE MEETING GUIDE. The guide includes lecture slides, program schedule, digital posters and presentation schedule, speaker list, attendee list, and meeting room locations.

- When you place an iLeads order, you acknowledge that by scanning the badges of participants in the conference, you will receive information that may be subject to data protection, privacy, information security or similar laws or polices. EXHIBITOR BADGES AND PRODUCT/COMPANY DESCRIPTION

NOTE: The SPA negotiated block of rooms now has several nights that are sold out in all three towers. You may be able to reserve a room through the Atlantis Call Center in the SPA block by phone at 1-800-386-4786. The SPA block closes for new reservations on January 24, 2020.
Rooms are still available to reserve through Atlantis Bahamas website at their current published rates. You may want to consider booking a room that you can cancel in case rooms become available in the SPA block before the cut-off date.
There are also other housing options available through internet searches in the Atlantis / Paradise Island area. We recommend paying close attention to cancellation policies and added fees for any options that may be considered. Please be aware of possible scams when booking through third party sites.

Rates are as follows:
Royal Tower = $269 / night plus fees and taxes
Coral Tower = $239 / night plus fees and taxes
Beach Tower = $179 / night plus fees and taxes
Please note that additional fees include a 12% VAT (Value Added Tax), sales tax, resort fee (reduced to $25 per room, per night), and minimal charges for housekeeping and other services. Rates are based on availability, until January 24, 2020.
The resort fee is reduced to $25 per night for all registrants if you book through the SPA hotel link. Using third party platforms to book your hotel will not reflect the lower hotel rates or the reduced resort fee. The resort will protect rooms in SPA’s contracted block, whereas third party reservations are not protected if the hotel sells out.

Airport and Airlines
When traveling to Atlantis confirm your flights into Nassau International Airport. The airport code is NAS. Most major airlines offer international service with either non-stop or connecting service into NAS.
Both US and Bahamas Immigration Laws require all travelers to have a valid passport. Passports must be valid for six months after your travel dates.
As you will be traveling to another country, you must present proof of citizenship. All guests full, legal names and children’s ages are required at time of booking. Possession of proper documentation is the responsibility of the passenger. Each passenger must have a valid passport, visa and/or proof of citizenship. Failure to provide the air carrier or governmental officials with necessary documents will lead to denial of boarding, in which case there shall be no obligation to board the affected passenger or to provide any alternate transportation. The passenger’s failure to provide such documentation may result in automatic flight cancellation without right to a refund.
Starting January 23, 2007 all travelers including U.S. citizens, to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada must have a passport to enter or re-enter the United States. This is a change from prior travel requirements and will affect all United States citizens entering the United States from countries within the Western Hemisphere who do not currently possess valid passports. This new requirement will also affect certain foreign nationals who currently are not required to present a passport to travel to the United States. Most Canadian citizens, citizens of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda, and to a lesser degree, Mexican citizens will be affected by the implementation of this requirement.
Travel Insurance coverage is available through Trip Mate Insurance Agency Inc. This is only available to US citizens as well as legal residents. It provides valuable insurance protection including trip cancellation, interruption or delay. Some of the other features include, lost, damaged or delayed baggage cost, medical expenses in case of an accident or sickness, emergency medical evacuation, worldwide travelers assistance service and accidental death. Insurance is highly recommended.
Take the following steps to make the most of your credit card(s) while traveling to the Bahamas.
* Notify all of your issuing banks (ATM and Credit Card) you’ll be traveling to the Bahamas and the dates you’ll be traveling on before you leave to ensure access to your funds.
* Check with your issuing banks to see whether your ATM or Credit Card is subject to daily spending or withdraw restrictions while abroad.
* Be sure to know your PIN for your debit or credit cards so you can get local currency from ATMs worldwide.
Call your mobile phone carrier to inquire about your international options for calls, texting and data usage. Many carriers offer short term international plans. You can also rent a Batelco serviced cell phone upon arrival at Atlantis Business Center.
There will be WiFi available for meeting attendees; you may want to consider using Facetime, Skype or messaging apps to communicate with family and colleagues at home.
